New Beginnings
Hello FaeRetail friends and family! Its Bittsy! I have come back from the Fae Realm with a couple surprises, some of which you will be lucky enough to witness with your own eyes and others which will just be news. So without further ado let us get into the most pressing and exciting update, at least in my opinion. We have not one but two new Fae workers!
Thats right! When you last heard about me from Heather, she said I was in Faery to get a contract in place for employment. Technically that is true but while I was in Faery I learned that we are not the first of the Mortal Realm to employ Fae. I mean I knew of the myths and legends of Fae working for and with Mortals but I didn’t think anyone else had a contract in Modern Times. But apparently there is a few and particularly one that has the door basically propped open for one species. This company is The Last Gnome Location, they have a contract with the Gnomes of Faery to allow them to travel and see the Mortal world. That is how we were linked up with our new employee Hobb, who will now be assisting me with Social Media! I mean lets face it, its a little difficult for me to participate since I don’t really appear in photos and am not large enough to control a camara. So now Hobb is our Social Media Director and will be traveling with Heather for Markets and things in the future. Now on to our other employee. If you have ever had socks or other items just go missing and either reappear or just vanish into the ether then you have experienced one of these guys. We have a new contract with a Goblinkin by the name PIIIPAR! She tells us it means: Put It In Its Pocket And Run. They apparently are named by their actions. So when she was a young Goblin she would grab items, put them in her pockets and run away. Like Dragons goblins like to have hoards of stuff. PIIIPAR is a list Goblin. Initially when we were introduced to her we thought she would be helpful to the work process not fully understanding what List Goblins do. Now we have learned that there are some kinks to work through for this relationship to work. Heather is a list maker to get things done. But with PIIIPAR’s list obsession we have had to work with her on holding off on taking Heathers lists until certain times. However, much like those socks that go missing, the reason they are desirable in the first place is the inconvenience they cause. Thus a lot of the time PIIPAR doesn’t even want the list if it has already had everything crossed off on it! Thus, sometimes we add things to the lists that have already been completed, or are just utter nonsense. That way the list is desirable to PIIIPAR to feed her need. Outside of her list snatching compulsion she is also very creative and has helped inspire a product set to be released in October. She also revealed the history behind it which will be the subject of the next blog post. So stay tuned for that.
We are happy to welcome these two new Fae into the ranks of our Fae employees. Me more so I think then Heather, because I was getting a little lonely without fellow Brownies for her home or other Fae Creatures in the area. We have in the works more employment contracts and hope to continue to be a thriving Fae/Mortal team. As mentioned above we have some new product in store to be released in a few weeks time. Besides PIIIPAR’s product I also got my hands on a shipment from two Dark Fae Clans who provided me with some of their wing sheds for the Fairy Wing bottles. At the moment it still is only adolescent Fae wings but we do hope to get some child Fae wings and to also be able to offer not just bottles but also charms down the line. Also coming up on Mabon will be our Mabon sale so keep an eye on our Social for the sale code and content featuring Hobb! I am so excited to be back and for the things to come!
