Seasonal Bazaar

This months blog post is a short one, as being back in the human world is catching up with me. Its almost like jetlag, time seems off and there just never seems to be the right amount of time in a day. I know that a lot of us feel that way without having traveled to another realm, but it truly seems that my brain is still on Fae Time and is having a hard time readjusting.

When Bittsy and I were in the Fae Realm there were these amazing Fae Bazaar’s that we visited: The Goblin Market, The Winter Realm Bazaar, The Festival of Leaves to just a name a few. Each of these Markets were open to the human world with portals that only the lucky few could find on specific days. Those days usually coincided with important dates in the season. Whether it be pivotal dates like the Equinox or Solstice or milder dates such as Samhain; the portals were available for the knowledgeable few to pass through and visit the Bazaars. To be able witness the Fae Realm for themselves and perhaps return home with a little piece of magic to keep close to their heart.

Though our store is open online seven days a week at all hours of the day for just that purpose. And we will be available at certain events and farmers markets in the near future, I wanted to add something that was similar to these portals to the shop. Thus I have decided that we will have flash sales on certain important dates. The major Equinox’s and Solstices everything in the shop will be a certain percent off for that day only. Then other important dates there will be smaller sales. If some of you saw our Blue Moon Sale it will be similar to that. A post will be made and the code for the sale will be available in that post and only be active for a short time. On top of that, every change of the season certain blankets and or seasonal products will be marked down as they are “out of season”.

So keep an eye out for the sales. You will find right now in the store, any pattern that is deemed a Spring pattern has been marked down. I unfortunately was a little too caught up with life stuff to do the Summer Solstice Sale, but keep an eye out for the Autumnal Equinox Sale on September 22nd and if you are familiar with Lammas that is coming up on August 1st. We will see you then and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the sales and anything that is new with FaeRetail before our Blog posts drop once a month. That does it for me, time to try to sus out how much time a truly have left in my day since in Fae Time it should still only be early morning.
